He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth ~Psalm 46:10
While being still we have an opportunity to mediate and acknowledge how good God is. Analyze all that he has brought us through, all that he continues to do for us and his everlasting love for us. When you take a moment to just be still and know that he is God you can truly see how unworthy we are but if not for his grace, where would we be. Be Still appreciate who God is!

Here is a great read on the qualities it takes to make a great leader. I'm glad honesty is at the top because without that you are unable to create and atmosphere of trust, without trust you can not be an effective leader.
Having a great idea, and assembling a team to bring that concept to life is the first step in creating a successful business venture. While finding a new and unique idea is rare enough; the ability to successfully execute this idea is what separates the dreamers from the entrepreneurs. However you see yourself, whatever your age may be, as soon as you make that exciting first hire, you have taken the first steps in becoming a powerful leader. When money is tight, stress levels are high, and the visions of instant success don’t happen like you thought, it’s easy to let those emotions get to you, and thereby your team. Take a breath, calm yourself down, and remind yourself of the leader you are and would like to become. Here are some key qualities that every good leader should possess, and learn to emphasize.

Loneliness often manifests as an inner ache, a vacuum, or a craving for affection. Its side effects include feelings of emptiness, uselessness or purposelessness. There are many causes of loneliness, but many people don't realize that they don't have to live with it. They can confront it and deal with it.
It's important to realize that just because you are alone, it doesn't mean you must be lonely or lonesome. While it may not always be possible to avoid being alone, there are always answers to loneliness.
God's Word tells us to be strong and courageous, for God is always with us. In the natural, you may be alone, but that doesn't mean you have to be lonely, because spiritually, God is always there. He will never leave you or forsake you.
The next time a feeling of loneliness tries to manifest in your life, I urge you to remember Deuteronomy 31:6. Declare out loud that God is with you and begin to talk to Him. As you make room for Him, His presence will fill your life. You don't have to be lonely when God's presence is with you wherever you go.
Did you know that we are in a war every day? Looking around at all the suffering, we may think the battles are just taking place externally, but in reality, we're losing the advanced and more important conflict, the battle in our minds.
When we fail to identify the battlefield, we also fail to correctly identify our foe. We tend to believe people, money, religion or "the system" are our problems. Unless we renew our mind, we risk continuing to believe those lies and making important decisions based on deception.
Each day our minds are bombarded with a constant stream of nagging thoughts, suspicions, doubts and fears. While any one of these can cause defeat and devastation, grabbing on to God's truth can bring victory and joy.
You may have some major strongholds in your life that need to be torn down. Let me encourage you by saying, "God is on your side." There is a war going on, and your mind is the battlefield. But the good news is that God is fighting on your side!
My ideal day would be going to the gym, come home shower, get the kids off to school, having coffee and devotions with my husband Todd Elliott, on the deck in warm weather, starting my day by going into, neighborhoods, schools, colleges, and youth correctional facilities, encouraging this generation that they are made for more. Establishing programs to show them how influential they can be, how talented they truly are, and how needed they are to our community. I will then go and check on the homeless program that we would run, where it’s a gated community where we are helping them by providing a safe location to go to so that when they do interview they have a phone where they can be reached, they have clothes to wear to interview in, they have a bed to sleep in until they get on their feet and there will be 24 hour counseling available to them to keep encouraging and speaking life into them helping them understand that they are made for more. I would then go to the college that I would work at and teach two courses one on ethics and one in design. I would meet my children at home talk about their day, cook dinner, clean transport to sports, work etc, then end the evening with a book and a nice hot bath and start it all over again the next day!. This is my ideal day and I know through Christ all things are possible because I am made for more! ~Charlyn Elliott
